Carla /
Occupational
Therapist
I’m Carla – founder of The OT Guru. I’m an occupational therapist who is truly passionate about helping people live the life they choose. I believe in showing up with heart, humour, and a whole lot of creativity. My vision is to create a safe and supportive space where people can flourish and reach their true potential. When I’m not wearing my OT hat, I’m a proud mum of two, wife to a very helpful husband, and dog mum to Cooper – our cheeky family sidekick.

Anna /
Occupational
Therapist
I was always extremely interested in the WHY behind what people do and as a result I loved the idea of occupational therapy where the care is holistic and all encompassing. I believe that everyone deserves to live a fulfilling life and OT is just one of many great tools to help people achieve that. I love playing outside with my daughter, riding and tending to my horses and reading.

Occupational
Therapist
I truly believe that the pathway to great health is being able to do the things that matter most to you, finding purpose in your everyday life, making your own choices, and building real, meaningful connections with the people around you. That’s exactly what Occupational Therapy is about, and it’s why I love what I do, it helps people live life in a way that feels right for them.

Eloise /
Occupational Therapist
I am curious about people and the parts that make them whole. I value connection and learning of the pillars that uphold peoples' wellbeing; their mind, body, values, social and physical environments. Through partnership with those I work with, I hope to support people to engage in what they find meaningful. Being an Occupational Therapist has given me the platform to do this which is why I love it.

Occupational Therapist
I believe that every person should have the opportunity to be independent and do the things they love and value. In my spare time, I enjoy reading mystery novels, baking, crocheting, embroidery, photography, and general arts and crafts.

Esmari /
Allied Health Assistant
I am an occupational therapy student going into my second year of university. I chose to pursue occupational therapy because I believe in the importance of holistic healthcare and enjoy interacting with different people to help them maximise their ability to participate in the activities important to them. Some of my favourite hobbies include playing netball, baking, and kayaking.

Allied Health Assistant
I'm a final year occupational therapy student. After starting my career in the corporate world, I followed my gut instinct to change to something more meaningful and people-centred. What I love about occupational therapy is the opportunity to make a positive difference in someone's life, no matter how small. Outside of study, I love travelling, being active and spending time in nature with my husband and two young kids.

Daniel / Allied Health Assistant
I chose to become an Allied Health Assistant because I have always appreciated the unique perspective neurodivergent people bring to the world. Throughout my years working as a teacher aide in a special school, I found a passion for supporting people to build confidence, develop skills, and engage in the activities that are meaningful to them and bring them happiness. Before joining The OT Guru, I worked across a variety of industries, experiences that have given me a practical outlook and the ability to connect with people from all walks of life. My goal is to bring feelings of genuine sense of belonging, comfort, and support.

Jodie / Administration Officer
Jodie is a valued member of The OT Guru team, known for her exceptional communication skills, organisation, and warm, approachable nature. With previous experience in the childcare industry, Jodie brings a strong understanding of supporting children and families, along with a genuine passion for helping others. Jodie thrives in a collaborative environment and loves being part of a team that shares a common goal of making a meaningful difference in people's lives. Outside of work, Jodie enjoys spending quality time with her daughter, catching up with friends, and making memories with her much-loved dog.

Jaye /
Practice Manager
I hold an array of knowledge from life experiences and job roles. This included working in the early years education sector, which I thoroughly enjoyed. Assisting people has always been a passion and when my son was diagnosed with ASD the world of Occupational Therapy grabbed my heart. I love being part of a team who assist people from all walks of life reaching their individual goals.
